What can children learn from acting? / myLot

I am having a discussion with my student online tonight.At random, I am quite bored with teaching.The course of action is to be a clown during the class sessions. Me: What can children learn from acting? Student: Children can use their acting skills when performing on stage or in a movie. Me: That's a nice thing for them to do. What if they learn how to act of being sick? Student: 5@!% Me: It is possible because they are good at acting. Does it make sense? I was still laughing at the reaction of my student. Some kiddies act this way not to go to their schools.

Yes, that makes sense... I wonder if your student never thought of doing that before? You may have just contributed to the delinquency of a minor...

At least nobody can say you aren't teaching him something useful.

I am sure he did this for a couple of times with the parents. It will come out naturally.

I guess I made him realize his real acting skill when having the class with me. Both of us are good actors during the class.

I have known my kids' classmates to be good actors . . . so good that they even fool their parents

(they have even admitted it!).

@Shavkat Not only are some good at acting sick, some are good at acting innocent. These kinds of kiddos who get away with things seem to be good liars

See, I am right that some kiddies do this.

My biological parents are so good to determine if we are saying the right thing or not. Although some of childhood friends are so good that they can really get away from being one.

I must say that acting is good for certain professions in this world. It is not limited for being an actor or actress in a film. I must say that I do act when teaching online. I do not show how bored I am teaching them.

Those who have ambition to become actor may get motivation from this class. But those who has no will to live will use this as an excuse.

You said it right. There are always the pros and cons to learn this acting skill. But then, the parents should also know how viable the alibis of their kiddies in certain situations.
