Thus killing the creative human spirit.
Drastic but true.
These apartment complexes and most apartment complexes
do not allow you to decorate as you please.
Usually the walls are either stark white driving you to drink as if you are in an insane asylum
or they are gray, dull and morbid.
You are not allowed to paint or wallpaper at the very least.
But looking at these lovely Pinterest photos, my spirit is lifted.
I love the soothing green in this set up and it is so very charming.
The sunlight gives it some beautiful warmth as well.
What is your favorite way to decorate your home?

Ah well
Me and Yvonne moved into this flat and the walls were all new and spotless and that's how they have stayed.
Don't need wall papered
Not allowed to paint thank god.
It's basically awesome lol
In our old homes we just painted everything, walls and ceilings white
And had brown doors.

Ohhhh, pretty florals against the green 
! None of our apartments would let us paint. I guess I don't really decorate much . . . I try perk things up with houseplants, patterned tablecloths, keeping things nice and neat (which most of the time it isn't

@RebeccasFarm My friend had an idea of hanging up big pieces of fabric on her walls since she couldn't paint the walls. It looked cool, but then the managers made her take it down . . . said it was a fire hazard .

Some out restrictions especially if the walls are made of wood. Wood needs so much preservation, nails can destroy them.

Yes that is right the slightest scratch can destroy the wood.
I love wooden walls though we had them in our childhood home in some rooms.
Father had hand made them.

That would be a room I would enjoy. My apartment came the way it is with walls made to look like wood. Hard to explain, I have put up some posters and that is about it. There is really very little space and even less wall space with the bookshelves and all,

Sometimes the walls are yellow.

Since I bought the apartment, I can decorate it in whatever way I like. The wall in my apartment is painted in beige.
