I really need to try and get some sleep because this is all I got last night

Cooper and I did not sleep real well last night. Certainly, if not well, it was not for very long.
When I don't sleep well, Cooper doesn't do as well either.
Last night, I didn't fall asleep until 5:00 this morning. I did sleep about 3 hours, so it was really more like a nap.
I did have every intention of sleeping more than that, but I was on the telephone with someone from here on my lot. I guess I could blame it on this other person, but I am not going to make someone else the scapegoat!
But it's 9:30 and I really should go upstairs and get some sleep. I think Cooper feels exactly the same way.
Good night to all.
Photo is my own

I haven't gotten a dollar in a day on here a long time. I think maybe I had a dollar in January on one of the days I was in Mexico and was sharing pictures and things.

@rakski Do you just have the one child? It's amazing to me that you even have one that old. I've always seen you as barely 20!

Good night, Coralita. I briefly woke up with my laptop on my lap

@TheSojourner It happens to me all the time now. But Claudia gave me her King size bed and even if part of my bed is used as a desk, I have space so that the laptop falls over it and not on the floor.

@LadyDuck can you wrap the knee in an elastic bandage to give you a little support?

@TheSojourner I woke up a couple of times, but I could rest. My right knee hurts a bit today, I am sure it's because of all those steep stone steps.

You need a good sleep. I couldn't sleep well last night for some reason. I was not keeping well and had bad leg pain and cramps. Just one of the nights that I get after the Covid infection. Got all medical tests done and there is nothing wrong that they can find. I just have to cope with it. I could sleep only after 5 this morning after all tossing in the bed for hours. I could not get up till 10 and felt exhausted after that too.

I, too, had a crazy night last night.
I'm so sorry that you have those pains/cramps. They are horrible. What do you do for them to help alleviate them? I have to hobble to the shower, and stand under the hottest water that I can tolerate.
I have also heard that light exercise and stretching before bed helps, but I know that walking tends to exacerbate the issue for me. I have been told that a stationary bike might help.
Of course, I have to remember to be well-hydrated throughout the day. But that's been one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations. The more water I drink throughout the day, the more I wake up in the middle of the night to eliminate. *shrugs*

@arunima25 I've been using a rice sock on my shoulders spasm lately. I should think about that instead of the hot shower.

@TheSojourner A bit of stretching exercises help. I generally take a hot water pad instead of going under shower.
Stationary bikes are better options for many after a certain age or when you start with knee problems.

Well I hope you both got better sleep! I somehow slept 6 hours straight last night - that has not happened in eons. All I could think of is we ate much earlier and I kept my portion small. I kinda don't feel any more rested though
.

I've been trying to eat earlier, but I'm not sure how long that's going to happen. With it going to be light until nearly 11:00 it makes it more difficult as we get closer to summer.

@coldplay8 I've dealt with insomnia for many many years off and on. And sometimes the illness certainly exacerbates the issue because of what it does in the middle of the night.
