The local news is reporting that the National Weather Service believes a tornado hit parts of Louisville today about 5PM our time.
Lots of damage but no injuries reported yet.
I heard from Lou and she’s fine. My family is okay, and I’m good, too.

Glad everyone is well. It is thundering out there right now...but I didn't hear anything about tornadoes earlier. If the TV is still on, I will check the 6pm news.

There were two fatal tornadoes yesterday…a nocturnal one hit about 50 miles south of St. Louis and killed five, and the one that killed a man here.

It’s all over but the cleanup. The mayor just announced that there was one fatality possibly related to the storm.

Very thankful as well. That’s the second tornado in five days, and the second 79 MPH wind gust measured in a month here. Now I know why people move to Alaska.

@FourWalls It may just be me but these storms this year seemingly have been on nearly the same path and they seem to be stronger. So much heartbreak and damage already and we are just beginning spring

Most of the city made it with power outages and limbs down. But my heart aches for those who did have the tornado damage.

I didn’t go looking for damage but I saw something that only a tornado can do. A flag had been reduced to one or two strands hanging on the pole. The pole was fine.
