A Lazy Day

Today has been my lazy day. I decided this morning to take the day off. I haven’t vacuumed, polished or cleaned. I haven’t been out walking. I’ve lounged on the deck with word games, Sudoku. Paper and pen, books to read and phone. Two of my sisters called and a close friend. We enjoyed chatting and catching up. I worked on a new poem, finished a book I was reading. The Brides House by Sandra Dallas. It’s one of the best novels I’ve read. I did a few Sudokus and word games. It was a good day. I hope all my friends in Mylot land had a wonderful day.

@LindaOHio It has turned cool today. I took my painting to work on the deck but it’s too cool. I did get the canvas covered with paint an left it to dry out there.

@RubyHawk The thing with me is that once I get going, I get going, and then it's one thing after another. I guess accomplishing things is motivating in an odd way.
