Two Fun Things to Think About

Mmmm. I am smelling garlic butter being created on the stove in the kitchen. We are have shrimp for dinner. I wonder. What is your favorite scent from the kitchen? Besides coffee. Bacon? Mine would have to be garlic.
The other thing I wondered about is this: What sound in the house makes you happy? Is it the sound of the kids playing? Maybe it is a saw or some other tool being used by your husband. Or the clicking of utensils being used in the kitchen. What is your favorite sound in the house? For me, it is that of my grandson when he first gets up each day. He is either singing or rambling on about life while he is in the bathroom. It tickles me to hear him. I feel that all is right with the world.

Favorite smell? Baking, I suppose.
Favorite sound? Besides silence? Pleasant music or birdsong.

I love the smell of pork and sauerkraut roasting. My favorite sound is any sound that my husband makes. I know he is in the house; and that makes me happy.

I think that is the same with my grandson. I love just knowing he's in the house. He's a good soul.
