Yup. It's Still Raining

This is the second morning in camp on our first long outing, and it is still cold and still raining.
The forecast says it will stay cold and will rain all day. Just the kind of day to stay in the camper and read or write or both after taking the pups out for their post-breakfast walk around the short loop of the campground.
K and I did spend part of the morning Spring Cleaning the camper. Normally we would give it a good cleaning at the end of the stay, but Son2 and GF are coming tomorrow for Easter Dinner.
The photo is of the "living room" in our camper where K and I "rough" it on rainy days like today. The chair with the tray and laptop is mine. It's where I'm sitting as I type this.

@wolfgirl569 And miss all the adventure. Certainly not. Except for this one time when our tent collapsed because of a broken pole due to the heavy rainfall and pooling water on the top of the tent. Yeah, that time we lit out for home.

@JudyEv We have some soft toys she can chase from one end of the camper to the other and some chew toys to keep her occupied. She's a young dog but an old hand at camping. We've been bringing her on trips since she first came home to us at 8 weeks old.

It’s not raining here, and it’s supposed to clear up and get into the low 60s. What, are you camping at the Masters or something? (They’re having rough weather…had three pine trees fall over during the round yesterday. 
)

Where just southeast of Raleigh, but it's the same line of storms they're getting in Augusta.
We will be here all week as my school is on Spring Break for Easter and K can work remotely some days and the drive to her office is about the same from here as from home for the days she must go in.

@DaddyEvil I don't buy Easter Candy anymore. K might have bought some for Son2 and GF to give them when they come for dinner tomorrow.
The last time I gave K candy, she accused me of wanting to make her fat. That was 27 years ago. I haven't bought her any candy since.
