I was just about to leave, when I thought I could smell smoke. I had been right, but thankfully, our house is fine. We're not sure where the fire started, but traffic is crazy because of it and you can see the smoke from our house. George said he'd take me out in the van.

We snuck down the road after the fire people left. The house was in fact empty, and very well-contained. Neither neighbor on either side appeared to be affected.

Glad the smoke had nothing to do with your house. You know what is odd there have been time I have smelled smoke in my apartment but the odd part is that my friend who live below don't smoke, After awhile the smell goes away. I hope you have a nice afternoon and will have a relaxing evening,
