Day 273
(Proverbs 10:6) Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
Do you know people who seem to have everything going for them? Everything they do and say brings them recognition. Yet, some people can’t get ahead and only grumble and complain about their lot in life.
Solomon said blessings come to the righteous, those who fear God and spend their lives in His pleasure, and violence to the wicked, those who don’t trust anyone but themselves and puff themselves up with every word they speak.
Christians are set apart by God because they accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Yet even Christians can bring about their downfall by taking credit for everything they have and not giving glory to God. Christians are no better or worse than anyone else. When they run their mouths, puffing themselves up, destruction waits for them. Stories abound about Christians who dipped their hands into resources they claimed belonged to God. They give the name of Christian a bad name. People see them as no better than they are and believe they don’t need to trust God for their salvation. However, when people see Christians acting with integrity and wisdom in everything they do, they see God’s blessings on their lives and know there is something different about them and will want to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
What kind of Christian are you? Do you puff yourself up or do you act with integrity in everything you do?
Let’s pray: Father, let me always act with wisdom and integrity in everything I do, giving glory to You for everything I have because I know everything, I have belong to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I have a huge faith and trust in Almighty. It's unshakeable. I am grateful for all the little blessings in my life and the strength that He provides me in the tough time. He is always there for me.
