No privacy for some intimacy - poor insects!

These red insects are very pretty and very interesting. I'm not sure what they are called. They have a lovely shade of red that makes them stand out wherever they are. But their lack of camouflage let's them down when they try to have ... ahem..... some intimate moments like these. They stand out and just have to go about their biological task in full view. I wonder if they know that they are being watched.

Those are very different looking insects. I don't think we have any like that here in the US.
