Life Went on Yesterday

Luck was with me yesterday. I had a bit of a panic attack yesterday when getting ready for my doctor's appointment. I didn't wanna go. Yet I had been out last month. Weird.
The weather seemed to be on my side. I called the office and told them I really didn't want to stand outside waiting for an Uber in the rain, sleet, and snow. (not a fib) They understood and arranged a video chat. I still need to get my bloodwork done at some point. they are looking into home nurses that may do this. We'll see.
So, here I am feeling better having this behind me but wondering if I should seek counseling as the doctor queried. I don't think so. I have in the past and, it doesn't help. I am who I am.

Well, the doc decided one thing and I decided another. She goes with what I decide.

Moods eb and flow like waves. I understand why doctors ask, but I don't like feeling like there's something seriously wrong with me. Nope, not happening. Bad enough I get diagnosed with things I don't have, because all they want to look at are numbers.

That's not good. I'm glad it's over until next time. I feel find and doubt I have any thing out of the ordinary.

I was diagnosed with major depression with panic attacks in 2006. It had a lot to do with PTSD I had after leaving my ex and, my troubled granddaughter that I had guardianship of for several years. Such a fun past. NOT!

@JamesHxstatic ......After I got away from my abusive husband I would run to the opposite side of the house each time the doorbell rang thinking it was him. My granddaughter would wait until I went to sleep at night and then take off, leaving me to deal with it the next morning instead of going to work. It was a fun time.
