An ad and a cheaper price

Just saw an ad from a store I shop at (Macy's). The products featured in the ad include bedding, a couch, a female wearing a bathing suit, and a knife. This could make for an interesting story...
Wonder why these products were chosen. I did look at those linens today but I did not look for bathing suits or knives. Though I did l look for knives recently.
And speaking of bed linens. I was buying a duvet cover set for my mom recently at Macy's (as it was at a big discount) and wanted to get her the sheet set as well. The sheet set was not on sale so got it at Home Depot where it was cheaper than at Macy's. That same sheet set appeared in this ad today and for a much lower price than I bought it for at Home Depot. $10 cheaper. Darn it! If only I had waited instead of getting it at Home Depot.

It always seems that products show up at a lower price AFTER we purchase them.

It’s especially a downer when they are lower in price by a lot.

It was cheaper by $10 I think. That’s a big enough difference. If only I had not rushed to buy at Home Depot. But I got it there because it was much cheaper than at Macy’s already. Didn’t expect it to go on sale at Macy’s any time soon.

Oopsie! At least you got your mom something she'd use, right?

Then quit looking for the item after you buy it... then you won't know if another store sells it cheaper.

If the item I bought ends up being even cheaper elsewhere I don’t wanna know about it lol.

I still saved money but bummer that I could've saved even more.

It's hard to know sometimes whether you should go ahead and buy something or hang off and hope the price goes down.

Yeah. Sometimes you wait and then it never goes on sale there; and where you could’ve gotten it for less it is either out of stock or no longer on sale.
