Selling Myself Online: What?!?

Don't get me wrong about this matter. We can do this by not only selling tangible things but also our services to our target clients. Since I have been an ESL teacher for more than 8 years, I have been selling my teaching skills to students online. This is a business for which I do not need huge capital. It is how I sell myself without feeling ashamed. Have you tried to sell yourself? Image Credit: careerdevelopmentcentre.com.au

I think it is not about selling yourself but selling your talent and professional skills

@m_audrey6788 You can put it that way, too. In a business context, they do described oneself like it especially if talking about sales.

At some point in our lives, we have all sold ourselves. When carrying out your duties and providing for everyone's needs, you are essentially selling yourself to others. That's what we do every day.

I agree with you. It was my mom's way of imparting her knowledge in business with us. I must say that my siblings and I are using it day by day.

Your skills are the only way to sell yourself.

You are so right. I am grateful that I learned bits of selling oneself in business.

Even when you write a "curriculum" it's a way to "sell" your talents and capabilities, NOT yourself.

I was offered to do this before, but I turned down. It is because the rate was not worth it.

@LadyDuck Indeed. One of my companies hired me without giving them my CV. I find it weird.

@Shavkat - When we want to find a job we have to write our curriculum if we want to be hired.

You got me there with the title! Ahaha. I have actually been wanting to sell myself the same way but I'm too shy to talk to people even if it's just behind the camera. I would love it if there was a text based ESL.

Good news! There is a text-based ESL or tutorial. You can try Course Hero. I do some tutorial stunts here at random. It is also like Chegg.

I can agree more with your statement. We can do other online stunts just to earn extra cash.

We could not do business without selling ourselves first. When we become credible to people we can then sell anything we want to sell. I will never buy anything or any service from a person I don't trust.

You said it right. I must say that it can be acquired. If we can just enhance our abilities, then we can sell anything without any difficulties.
