Wild figs

We lost our fig tree a few years ago but the cutting that we had planted has now grown into a sizeable tree and is yielding.
The figs on this tree have yet to get that quality that we got when our old tree was living and we hope it will soon reach there.
Wild figs are large in size and juicy too. I followed a recipe and made fig syrup once which went well with ice cream. I even dried them but they are not the same as the ones we get in the market.
What is your favourite dried fruit?

Every dried fruit is tasty as far as I am concerned. I just love dried fruits - expensive taste you might say (lol)

I normally soak them in sugar syrup to soften them a bit

I soak apricots in sugar syrup to make it easy for me to eat them.

I like dried bananas and strawberries. Almost all dried fruit.
