Good Doctors.

My hubby had a consultation with two doctors yesterday. This is to read the result of his MRA and whole abdomen ultrasound. My hubs prostate gland size is within the upper limit which is 25 grams. He ordered to have a total PSA test that was also done yesterday while we are waiting for the next doctor. My hubs have a family history of enlarged prostate. We have to wait for the PSA result but so far, so good. The second doctor is a neurologist. The vesicular loop seen in the MRA is nothing to worry about. As for his constant headache, he was diagnosed to have a combination of tension headaches and migraine. The tension headache was brought about by a very stiff muscle on his right neck. He was given medication for that and hopefully, it will work. They are both good doctors. They explained well the result reading.

Yes, my dad had an enlarged prostate. His PSA test was very high, and he ended up having cancer. However, today he is cancer free. A lot of men have an enlarged prostate, and they never have cancer at all. Your husband is wise just to have it checked out.

yes, this is the first time he will have a PSA test. His dad has an enlarged prostate but no cancer. But there was a time the prostate was so large. Good that your dad is cancer free. How is his voice now?

My dad and my brother had an enlarged prostate. My dad's prostate is cancerous and my brother is not thankfully. My dad is well now and is cancer free. My brother is still under medication and hoping he gets well soon. Thank God, there are many good doctors.

@rakski It is very common in men, some only when they age, others when they are still pretty young.

At least it's a relief to have a diagnosis. It's good the doctors explain things fully to you.
