Should I splurge on this?

I saw an ad for a Kate Spade wallet. I really love it. And it happens to be on sale.
Instead of $210 it is $168. That is a pretty big discount.
However, when I think about it, paying $168 + tax for a wallet is still a lot of money.
I don't really need a new wallet. But it sure would be nice to have it. Should I splurge on it?
Not sure if the leather is soft though. I prefer soft leather wallets to hard ones.

I wouldn't pay that much for a wallet; but if you LOVE it and can afford it, go for it!

I wouldn't buy it, but I don't have the money. How long does the sale last? If you have the money, and it won't interfere with any of your finances, I'd wait until near the end of the sale. If I still wanted it, I'd buy it. If you can afford it, have some fun, and don't feel badly about it. I've never spent more than $30 on a wallet, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't.

My Marc Jacobs wallet that I have now wasn't cheap. I have it for many many years already. I love it! I used birthday money to pay for it when I got it back then. Maybe I can do the same with this wallet.

@kaylachan I went to the kate spade website to see if that sale still exists. I noticed that on top of that sale there was a Mother's Day discount. 30% off. That sealed the deal for me. I got the wallet. 
And shipping was free.

I know some people can afford these and love them, to me, a wallet is a wallet. I honestly wouldn't feel right spending that much on a wallet, but that's just me. I realize they are high quality, but no, not for me. I do have several very high end handbags, yes the quality is very nice. But they were gifts and I've used them for years.

The one thing that I am concerned about is that it may not be a soft wallet. Hard to tell just by looking at the picture.

Would be nice if the price dropped even more. But that may never happen. And the wallet may no longer be in stock.

I wouldn't spend that much on a wallet.
I showed this discussion to Pretty... She said she'd pay $10 for the wallet.
