Day 294
(Proverbs 24:23-26) These things also belong to the wise: It is not good to show partiality in judgment. He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” him the people will curse; nations will abhor him. But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them. He who gives a right answer kisses the lips.
How often do you go to court or hear about people who got off with a light sentence when a harsher one was called for? Angry protests happen all the time in those situations. No one likes a judge who shows partiality and allows the guilty party to go free.
Solomon knew those kinds of judges existed and abhorred them. He showed the people what kind of judge he was when people came to him. He judged rightly and didn’t pardon the wicked.
As Christians, you need to set your standards on God’s Word. When you are in a position of judgment, you are to be fair in your dealings with people. Otherwise, people will know you’re a pushover and give leniency when a harsh verdict is called for. Don’t let your feelings cloud your judgment. Seek God’s will in everything with prayer and you will always be fair in your dealings with people.
Let’s pray: Father, help me to be fair in everything I do, without partiality. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

When I was at my sister's house, we have weekly bible study. It lightens the heavy load for the day and is very uplifting. These are Words of God and they help us emotionally and spiritually.

That`s right, I don`t like pushing things I like to others but if they ask. Then, I share it with them
