Today has been a busy day, I guess you could say.
We went and picked up a pizza from Little Ceaser's and took it to the park and had a picnic. Then Eli and I swung on the swings for a while after that.
The weather was a bit chilly today, especially when the sun would hide behind the clouds. It may rain at some point today, the sky definitely looks like it could at any moment. We ended up getting a big storm yesterday when I went to pick up Eli from school.
After that we went to the store, they have rearranged the store completely so are having a grand reopening and Eli is now coloring a picture to enter a contest to win $5.
I am sharing a photo I took of him at the park last weekend when it was nicer weather.

@MarieCoyle Sometimes we have no idea why. Earlier it was because I took his tablet away because he had broken one of the rules that would result in him loosing technology. But he threw a tantrum over it. However, once he calmed down he was a happy kid.

Why is he throwing fits? Is he just wanting his own way, or is it something else? Does he just do that to you and your husband, or around everyone? Sorry, don't mean to be nosy, but it would be very difficult, and surely there must be a reason for it. Oh, if only we knew...kids are often hard to figure out.

We got the pretzel crust pizza and their new brownies.
the pizza looked nothing like the commercial lol.

@MommyOfEli2013 that’s what I had the pretzel crust and the baby, my oldest daughter and I didn’t like it. I had it years ago and loved it. Looks and tastes way different. $6.99 was a good price though.

@shaggin Maybe they changed the recipe since then. Hard to say. I don't think it was horrible, but I think I'd just rather there $5 pizza (well now $6.49)

It's a Family Dollar; not sure if you have them there. I know they are different states, but not sure everywhere. They have where customers can also enter to win different gift card amounts.
I hope he wins too.
Glad you like the photo of him! It has been a while since I shared a photo of my kiddo.

@RebeccasFarm That's a bummer that some of them closed....I think some of them here have gone out of business too. Our local one though spent lots to renovate though...so that's a good thing I guess

We had a beautiful, sunny day here, but it was breezy and made it feel just a bit colder than I wanted to be. But picnics are nice, and so is swinging. Glad you had a nice time with your family.

Same here. And sure, I guess they are... would have been better if the weather was nicer and my son hadn't thrown a big fit before we had gone out...
