Where in the world would you find too many men? Yes there are countries where men outnumber women - easy to find a husband. Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait Bahrain- to mention a few. You can read about the others in the link below. There are also countries where women outnumber men - easy to find a wife.. The world population is estimated at around 7.6 billion people and the man/ woman ratio is almost equal , but not in some countries. Why there is an imbalance in some countries makes a lot of sense. Read about the reason in the link below. Would you travel to a foreign land in search of a spouse? Pixabay image. Here is the link

I couldn't do that, even if I want to. I'm already taken and old. No more adventures for this old woman. If I were younger, I still wouldn't because I believe that there is already someone meant for each one of us, and no matter what we do, we will always meet that someone somewhere in our lifetime at the right place and at the right time.

I am single and young at heart, but traveling in search of a spouse is not for me .However if l were younger and single l would be on quite a few cruises traveling the world and who knows - l could meet that special someone.

Women have to choose carefully, but that is not always the case.

Did you know there are slightly more males born than females..it is like 51 percent are male at birth.. However, along the way so many manage to kill themselves doing dumb things that by the time they are adults the ratio is almost even.

I may be wrong but I am assuming that it could be few reasons I guess like 1-2 child policy preference of boy over girl (female infantices ) or it could be just natural more boys being born than animals like in some family many boys were borned than baby girl or vice versa

@Kandae11 Yes! India's male migrating to other countries, I don't remember the article's names there which I come across once, a study was conducted from one of the village or states in India where majority of the men migrate to other cities or other countries for better economic opportunities and during their absence how women manage their daily life including even in decision making.

In the link it says that one of the main reasons along with the fact that male children are preferred( especially in those countries mentioned). There is a high immigration of males seeking economic opportunities in those countries. Jobs in construction etc. You are right about the preference of boy over girl.

There is no way I would leave my country to find a spouse, but I understand that might be necessary for other people.

There are no imbalances in the population where l live anyway, so that consideration would be most definitely out.

Atleast in India boys are preferred for girls and there are cases where girls are aborted.

If I wasn’t already married I would consider marrying anyone that I was in love with, but I wouldn’t travel to another country on a search for a spouse.

I would be very hesitant to marry a man from some of these Middle Eastern countries. They don't have a good track record as regards their treatment of women.
