Do you remember some interesting online projects in the past?

Long time ago there was a project called SETI. Basically it was a project which took advantage of individuals' computers and helped them analysize the signals from out space. All I needed to do is to download their software. And when my computer was idle, then they would do the analysis job. Try to imagine, if more people take part in it, then the analysis job will be easier. Perhaps one day they would be able to find the lives in the universe in this way. It still sounds very interesting today

There are still some things like that but I wouldn't do them... You never know what the software that they're downloading on your computer might also do.

Perhaps in the past most people trusted each other easily. At that time we liked to share even if we were just net friends or strangers.

@youless It was easier to trust complete strangers when I started playing online. I still trust people on myLot more than I should, probably.
