Hard to believe...

This upcoming week will be my last week at my current job.
Not 100% sure why this feels so weird...maybe it's due to the fact that the "hiring" or "onboarding" process, as they call it, has taken so long--since late November or early December of last year I've been doing phone calls and filling out papers and emailing papers and being told I missed this or did that incorrectly and had to do it over again...
Now, it's counting down the days until I actually go to the Coast Guard Training Center daycare and start.
Granted, I'll have to do a training of some sort before I can actually work, but--it's getting closer, and the thought to me is staggering.

That wasn't the initial reason--it's kind of a long story. It is three more dollars an hour and more days a week though.

@xstitcher If it’s an overall better situation for you then that is wonderful. And who wouldn’t want three dollars more an hour? That’s fantastic!
