Finally! Today George Santos has been indicted by the DOJ(Department of Justice) with federal offenses. Not clear yet on all the charges but they are looking at loans and certain finances. I couldn't believe he had fraudulently made his way into Congress. He has lied about so much. His mother, his school history, the jobs he had, his faith, and many more. He has signed his name to FBI papers saying all he has said is true. I think Kevin McCarthy needed every vote he could get and let Santos stay. Now is he going to let him stay even while on trial? It will be interesting to see how all of this comes out in the months to come.

Santos should not only be investigated and tried here in the US but arrangements should be made to turn him over to the Brazilians. I'm sure they'd love to subject him to some of their interrogation techniques.
