Some things really taste good

I am having a second cup of coffee. The morning is a little bit chilly and the coffee tastes good.
We used to eat out often, and I think Bob misses it. I miss the aspect of being waited on more than anything. Bob did not eat a very good lunch before the appointment yesterday, so he was hungry early.
One of his favorite things to do is to stop at a Convenience Store and grab a hot dog or Polish sausage. We did that before we even got very far towards home yesterday. He loaded them up with mustard, kraut, and banana pepper pickles. It tasted good too.
You may not have convenience stores where you live. You may have street vendors though. It is the same idea. Savory hand held foods. Our convenience stores sell gasoline and other things a traveler might need. Not all of them have hot food, but this particular company does and this is not the first Wichita trip that has involved sausages hot off the roller grill.
Some things just taste good.

I always look forward to a nice hot cup of coffee every morning.
I like getting food at the convenience store too. Convenience stores certainly have come a long way and offer much more than they did years ago.

I miss traveling just to see what's out there to see and eating out... Sometimes, Pretty and I talk about restaurant foods we miss.

Bob must be a kindred spirit of my dad’s if he is helping himself to a Polish sausage from a convenience store. For your sake, I hope this does not leave Bob with the indigestion it frequently leaves my dad with. My poor mother was always ready with a Tums when she knew he’d had a Polish sausage (or two).

We do not do it a lot and for us it seems it is always worth the price, and quite tasty.

Almost every gas station we stop at, they have all types of coffee, pastries, soft-drinks and various foods. Many have hot foods, such as hotdogs and sandwiches, that we never purchase. Their prices are crazy high, where we stop!

This was less than four dollars for two, so much less than a burger, even at Mickey D's. I have seen some that even have pizza slices.

Stores like Sheetz have quite an extensive menu plus gas. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal.

I have not been to Sheetz, but I am sure it is much the same. Usually there is even fresh fruit to be had as well as the quick serve yummy foods.

I wish I had been with you having coffee this morning, The chilly weather sounds good, We are sizzling here in Florida, The convenience food sounds good, We have a convenience shop about two blocks away and they have some hot foods, sandwiches, doughnuts, and slushies,

Nope, they do not sizzle for ages. Often the use the higher quality brands and since it is a busy traffic area the "turnover" is frequent. We do not have Casper's anywhere near here.
