Celeste, the pressurerised capsule will take you there. No hurry, you have until 2025 to save up for the dining experience which will cost 120,000 euros per person. Gourmet meals will be served before and after the flight, and l can't help wondering if one will experience any problems digesting gourmet meals in that kind of setting. Are you interested? Would you go? Read all about it here:https://thenextweb.com/news/french-startup-zephalto-space-balloon

I would not be interested in doing this. I would use that money for other things and stay on Earth.

Not a bit, not even if the flight would be free and they would offer a gourmet meal.

@LadyDuck Wow! I can think of so many ways to spend that money. Remember that cost is for one person only, now who would want to go dining alone? For two it will be 240.000 euros.

I wonder if any of that money will go to cleaning up the atmosphere they're polluting by sending those people up to dine in space?

@Kandae11 Then the governments need to regulate how many times a year those rockets can be sent up into space. That's everyone's air they're polluting, not just theirs.

No, I would not go. It's better to use the money for something more useful on Earth. All I can say good digestion to all the people who'll be going.

@Kandae11 Yeah but even if it goes down to say 20,00 can't see spending that kind of cash on it even if perchance I might have it available, a big if

No, thank you. I have motion sickness, so I am sure I won't be able to eat or enjoy the flight. I will eat on terra firma and enjoy my meal.

Interesting concept ! Furthermore, the article suggests that it has got a solid development with lots of support although the testing to the desired altitude is not there yet. There won't be many customers at this price, but I am sure that a few would definitely follow.

@Kandae11 Yes but ideally money should be spent on more useful causes, with so much inequality and poverty still existing in the world.

We should not forget inflation, the price might double in two years. Or as technology and Al continues to advance it could reduce by half.

Regarding my interest and willingness to go on this food adventure, I have some concerns. The cost alone is very high, and I'm unsure how well my stomach will handle the experience, which makes me think twice. However, who knows? Maybe the appeal of this special opportunity will change my mind in the end.
