18 May - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening. The sun is about to set on this very hazy day. I'm thankful for the work I did on Where Eagles Soar. I will start work on chapter 13 tomorrow. It's a fast read, but I'm finding I'm second-guessing myself. I know I should trust the research I've already done and only read it. But that has never been my nature. I have found a few areas for improvement. I'm about a quarter of the way through. I will definitely publish it next week. I'm thankful for the writing gift God gave me. I don't know what else I would do. Life would be very boring. I'm thankful for Canasta today. It was a hoot! Laughter was the name of the game. I came in dead last. The two Canastas I got in one game were almost wiped out by the points left in my hand when another player went out suddenly. It was the shortest hand of the game. I'm thankful for supper. Though it will be the last time I use chickpea pasta for spaghetti. The meat sauce saved it. Okay, that's what I'm thankful for today. What are you thankful for today?
