With the sun making daily appearances and it all going green out there, the wildlife is much more busy.
Not just the adults, there are lots of little ones out there. So far I have spotted ducklings, baby Coots and baby rabbits, all on or along the canal.
For the first time I spotted a fallow deer. I have seen several Muntjac deer, which are about the size of a large dog, along the canal, but until now the only Fallow deer I have seen have been have been farmed.
Sadly I wasn’t able to grab a picture of the Fallow, she was far to skittish

Are you showing us the baby animals because your wife is having a baby soon?

I have only ever seen fallow deer in parks, like Ashton Court in Bristol. We get the occasional roe deer around here. Last autumn one took to coming to our garden for a morning rest for a few days. Other than that it's just muntjac all the time.
