The Internet Archive Way Back Machine has stored more than 808 billion web pages and you can find myLot pages there.
I did some search and here is a page that will give you an idea of how it was in the year 2009. myLot started in the year 2006
Those days there was information on the number of users and from which country they came from. There were categories to choose from while creating posts.
Which year did you join myLot?

I was with Bubblews for a short time before it closed down. I always regret not finding it sooner.

I have never heard of this Way Back Machine but it does sound interesting. The internet is always changing , so it would be fun to see how things used to be done even in the not so distant past.

@allknowing I think it looks better now, I wonder if any of the original members are still on here.

I joined Mylot 16 years ago, in 2007. My friend introduced me. She is no longer here, but obviously, I still enjoy it.
I also liked that we could choose a "best response" for our discussions, but oddly some mylotters got upset when their reply was not selected.

I joined in 2009 and yes there were occasions to get affected when ones post was not chosen as best. So you are a veteran at myLot.

@allknowing I honestly never paid attention to who got best response, but then again, people can surprise you on what they care about.

@allknowing Yes, I did not know of myLot. When many were abandoning Bubblews a myLot user told me that it was a good site and suggested to join. She is no more active now but she has been for a long time (SimplyD).

I came over to myLot shortly after the bubbles in Bubblews sank
at least I think I did it could have been much later though. In Latvia, it was harder to pick up on some of the US sites on the Internet. Checked my profile and it says I have been here for eight years. so I arrived in 2015.

Many here I notice arrived after the tornado in Bubblews. You did not experience the earlier myLot as 2015 was the year they started paying again after a break.
