Summers are here and so are Mangoes!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well.
Summers have started in India and the kind of all fruits i.e. Mangoes have arrived too. I like this fruit a lot.
There are different types of Mangoes found in India in different regions with unique names like Kesar, Badami, Langda, Chausa, Pairi and Alphonso.
We have got mangoes in India and they are riping each day. We are enjoying cutting mangoes right now.
In few days, we will enjoy Aam Ras i.e Mango Juice which is relished a lot by people and generally eaten along with Puri.
We enjoy having Mango Milkshakes as well. Mangoes have lot of benefits as it has lots of vitamins and minerals contained in it.

Yes Mangoes taste great during the Summers - especially Dussheri and Safeda.
Aam Ras here is more like Mango Chutney than Mango juice, but it could have regional variations.
I read somewhere that Aamras - Puri is a kind of summer special treat in Gujarat.

very good write up. In Kolkata the himsagar mangoes are available in the market which taste very good

The mention of aam ras puri makes my mouth water 
. I enjoy mangoes in moderation as long as the season is here. We are relishing few pieces every night after dinner as dessert.
