Will We Ever Fraternize with Aliens?

Yeah, my old next-door-neighbors were Guatemalan….oh, wrong kind of aliens. As for the creatures from another planet, nah, I’m just counting on God to save us.

I think it is sort of arrogant to think we are the only living beings in the vast universe we live in. Will we interact with them? Who knows? Perhaps we have been and don't know it.

I believe that anything is possible. The vastness of the universe cannot make us the only living person in the whole wide universe. They may just be far from us but definitely I believe there are other living beings somewhere out there.

I imagine aliens with well-advanced technology than us observing us from afar through their mega lenses and shaking their heads at how we are destroying our own environment and how we kill each other through wars. They may be preparing right now to invade and conquer us, or they may be preparing to save us and - as you said - fraternize with us and teach us how to get along.

@RebeccasFarm, Don't know what is in the future. If they come they will do good or bad still unknown to us. However, it will be interesting to see if they have "Miss Galaxy" or "miss milky-way " competition like "miss world" and " miss Universe"

People are already talking with aliens from outer space.

I don’t think it is, but if it was, it would be pretty cool. As long as they weren’t worse than us.

Have you ever seen the Twilight Zone episode called "To Serve Man"? My FIL once said aliens may have tried to save us long, long ago, but we've shown that we don't deserve it . . . so now they just fly on by .

I have nothing against talking to a one-horned one-eyed purple guy unless he's a people eater and anything green might look good against my complexion just gotta hope no one starts zapping me like in ET when the boy and ET were practically as one. Heck, bring on the aliens,

And the pigs might fly overhead! Talking about teaching us to all get along better. However, we can keep hoping and wishing. There seems so much hate and anger in the world at the moment.

My first thought is weren't those aliens the ones who originally colonized this planet? Didn't they eventually mingle with the Neanderthals'? Yeah, I have an active imagination but whose to say I'm wrong, right?

It could happen hundreds of years from now but we’ll never see it.
