The other day my husband called to say that he was off work and going to get gas and run in to Walmart to get him some ice cream. I asked him to grab a cucumber for our salad that I was making for dinner. Later after he got home I went to wash the cucumber and slice it up. I was surprised by the cucumber that he had bought, not a cucumber……silly man of mine. Last night we had the zucchini fried.

At least it's green. I'm glad you fried it and it didn't go to waste.

Wen I still had a garden we got a mixture of cantaloupe and cucumber. Weird. Not real good to eat.

I couldn’t help laughing. It’s an easy mistake to make. I have used zucchini in place of a cucumber and nobody knew the difference.

You can eat zucchini raw in salads too, so it wasn't a total fail. Once I asked my partner to get some sage leaves, he went out into the garden and came back with buddleja!

I like sauted zucchini as salad. Cucumber salad is more common in my house, but we do make zucchini salad from time to time. That kind of mistakes are very common with my husband
