Many people dont know their state diversity.

According to biological diversity every region has its own diversity. In West Bengal the state bird is white throated kingfisher. Many people who see crows or sparrows never know what is the state bird. If industrial wastes dont intervene the biological diversity of a place remains intact.

I remember in 4th grade we had to take a special course on the diversity of our state, Oklahoma. What our state bird was (Scissor tailed Flycatcher), our state flower, our state rock (barite rose rock), and so on. I think it was a good idea to get children interested in their local environment.

@sathviksouvik That’s too bad. I’m sure they’d be interested if someone tried teaching them.
