Hi there.
I'm sorry for not posting a lot of discussion here. I love interacting here specifically I've learned a lot of lessons here.
It's a matter of I'm struggling some issues in my daily life specifically in my workplace.
Just to let you know. I'm happy with my new workplace right now. However...
There's lot of bullies with my coworkers. I'm one of the oldies in the team. One is already in 46 and me as 45 years old. Then next are in 30s and 20s only. Imagine, we're only two in the 40s.
I know that in USA, as long as you can still work, no issues with that. But here in the Philippines, specifically, if you're in the BPO industry, and your teammates are almost half of your age. Bullies are everywhere.
Sometimes, I tell to them, you should know how to respect but still nothing.
My wife even asked me, can you still manage to work in BPO?
Of course, my answer is YES. I need to do that for my family. I'll do my best to overcome those bullies. Hope I can?

Can you report this behavior to your boss? If you can, then please do so. If not, try ignoring them, and forge a good relationship with the only other person your age so you can have some form of support at work. If you don't respond to the bullying at all, they might eventually get tired of it, and quit. I know you can overcome this, and you are not alone. It isn't fair to you, but I think we have all dealt with it. I wish you the best of luck.

@AmbiePam As much as I've wanted to report to my supervisor. I can't because it'll affect my work. I'm still in my training status. I can't focus working with my teammate is already in 46. That's because he already managed to work with the attitude of our younger teammates.
In my end, I'm trying to manage it but still have struggles to accept to those bullying topics.

@luisga814 I am so sorry it has been so tough. It’s just wrong that informing your supervisor would affect your work when it’s not your fault.

@luisga814 Remind him that he may be wearing false teeth before he reaches your age... Someone could poke his teeth down his throat for him if he keeps being disrespectful to people who are only a little older than him. (Just don't imply it will be you teaching him a lesson.)

@DaddyEvil I'm asking suggestions also to my wife about it.
I've already mentioned to my colleague that do you want the have a false teeth now. I can make it for him. I've wanted to punch him to make his teeth will ruin. But I can't for professionalism.

I agree with Amber. Can't you report their behavior to your boss? You should not be subjected to bullying. I put up with it for so long and finally quit because my boss was on the bully's side.

@LindaOHio I don't want to be bullied but I don't want to report it also. The good thing right now is one of my teammates, reported it to the supervisor to stop all those kind of bullies.
