Paying June Rent Tomorrow

Today, we scraped money together to pay another month's rent. We had plans to be out of here by June, but it's definitely not happening. No big deal:)
The timing is off, because our final agreement hasn't been signed yet. Am I upset about this? Of course not! Purchasing property takes a while, to get everything taken care of.
John is a nice man, we've enjoyed working with him over the past few months. As a matter of fact, his Dad knows some of my relatives. It's a small world!
We used the laundry-mat in AuGres this week. It's a lot cleaner than the one in Tawas City. Soon we won't be needing either one.

@JimBo452020 Yes, that's the same thing. He runs a real estate office.

Yes, I imagine purchasing land would take a while, but it will be so worth it.
I'm thankful my dad and Diana let me use their washer and dryer to do my laundry. At least I have Diana to talk to while I do my laundry. The laundromat in my apartment complex takes forever, and I think the inside of their washers are dirty.

We used the laundry mat in Tawas for a couple months. They don't keep it clean, as they did before.

@kobesbuddy I just don't like that. It can't be too hard to stay on top of it, I would think.

@AmbiePam They enjoy emptying the money out of the machines. Yet, keeping the place clean is a bother.

Building a house of any size at all is a lot of red tape, permits, endless inspections, and time. Been there, done that, it's not always fun. It always takes longer than anyone thinks it will. I'm sorry...it won't be an easy ride.

What do you plan on doing while you are building your new house? Will you stay in the house?

@PurnaSharma There was a cowboy on television years back. He wrote a song, "Cheer Up!" I enjoyed his children's program, every afternoon:)

I am glad you are on your way to getting everything done. It took time for us to get a house in Oregon. Once I found a house that I wanted we still had to wait awhile. And we had cash to pay for the house from the sale of the house in Colorado. Everything takes time.

Yes, our lot is about 1/2 block from where we are renting. Here's a photo that I took last week. The property hasn't been cleared off yet.

@TheHorse Nope. It's just one city lot, in a forested area of town. The woman(owner)wanted to build a home here, then her husband passed away. She decided to live out of state, near their children.

The outside looks OK, but inside there are ten problems to deal with. Water leaks, flushing the toilet it bubbles into the kitchen sink. Spiders, ants, bugs of all kinds, indoors. I found mouse poop, in the bottom of the refrigerator.

Renting is very expensive at this time. We would benefit using our money for a home that we own.

The house and the courtyard look like a dream house. It's a lovely house. I hope you own your own house a day. Not having to pay for rent would be nice. A little extra money to spend towards you.
