This has been a week of changes and moving on

At one point in your life, you have probably gone through a week of happenings. Like there's a number of important events that signal either the end or the start of something. This week has been like that to me. I will not mention everything that's happened this week, but I will list a few:
1. Set an appointment for my daughters' renewal of passport
2. Moving Up ceremony of my eldest daughter. She's heading to Senior High in August.
3. The official announcement of my husband's resignation from the school where he worked as upper school head for 6 years.
4. Announcing to friends that we're moving to the capital this July and will live there for at least 2 years.
Whew. Kinda overwhelming for me but they all need to happen and they have to be done. I hope next week would be a little slow.
I am still helping my daughter with her modules due at the end of the month. At the same time, I'll be doing some paperwork for this and that and decluttering parts of this old house.

@almostoveryou - Our move was very stressful as we lived in the South of France and we had to cross 3 borders to come here (France, Italy and finally Switzerland).I had to list everything we moved so that the Customs can let us go.
We moved here in 2006, I was 55 and my husband 60.

@LadyDuck I imagine how stressful it had been to go through 3 borders. What more, to settle in a new place. You guys have been brave. It's been 17 years!

It's the same for me, Anna. I really wish we wouldn't have to move, but this is for the benefit of my husband and kids. So that they wouldn't have to drive far 5 days a week and brave through horrendous Manila traffic.
May I know what age you moved there? I'm in my late 40s and yet I feel like an old lady who needs to do things little by little especially when it comes to major changes in my life and daily routine in general.
