I Bought Leaf Lettuce & Some Corn on the Cob

This morning, I stopped by the Farmer's Market in Tawas City. The parking lot was almost full, at 9:30A! They are open from 9:00A-1:00P. each Saturday until October.
There was still a wide selection of fresh produce. I was like a child at a candy counter! Fresh vegetables in our local community, are just starting to be marketed. And that's when they taste the best!
Yes, they are a little bit more expensive, but I'm willing to forfeit that extra dollar or two, for all those amazing health properties:) No DDT, no chemical fertilizer? I appreciate that wonderful quality!
Anyway, tonight's dinner will bring us some very good eating:)

Oooh, roasted corn on the cob! That’s one thing I sorely miss thanks to IBS.

Our Farmer's Market has not opened yet, in about 2 weeks. I am looking forward to it, I truly love fresh veggies.

We eat a lot of vegetables, even during the winter months. Yet, not quite as many as during the summer season.

Those chemicals cause havoc in our digestive tract. Cancer is the end result.

Fresh corn on the cob is sooo good. We usually have a farmer's market on the town square a couple of towns over from us. Not that far, maybe 8 miles. Have a great weekend.

We go into town often, for gas and other things we need. Stopping by the farmer's market took another ten minutes, not any longer.
