Memories Always Shine

I was busy as usual getting ready for a work week with writing and blogging. I was preparing an article about Bruce Springsteen and came across one of his latest songs. From his 2020 album the song is “I’ll See You in My Dream”. I chose the video with the lyrics so you can take a listen and see how beautiful this song is. It made me think of the attached photo which provides double the memories. The photo is a bit damaged but that is how it arrived from Latvia since it was in a frame and the glass broke. This photo of us was taken on a ship that provided lunch and entertainment while going around Manhattan Island in New York City. The reason I say double the memories is because this was at the end of the 1990s and we had a big video camera at that time. I have the video Martin took of us on this ship and I can hear his voice and what he was talking about to me while we went up on deck to see the sights of New York. This Springsteen song expresses my feelings just right.

@RebeccasFarm I have the photo tapped to a cabinet in my workroom, glad I found it but then I was writing an article. That is why I enjoy my writing I always learn and discover something new. You know Springsteen just sang this song at his last concert and he is in his 70s. Way to go I say,

@RasmaSandra You are welcome. I did the same for a photo my Mom had of my grandfather in his military uniform when we left for World War I.

What would we do without photo memories. I say that often. A beautiful song. Thank for sharing the photo and link. You are so blessed to have the video and can hear his voice. Oh my, what I would give to hear Dustin one more time.

@just4him I had found this photo and was going to do a post on it and then I wrote up an article about Springsteen for Vocal Media and discovered this song and they both went together well.
