I got a google play card a few years earlier to purchase Minecraft for my niece. I successfully got it for her and was left with a $2 credit. I don't what this new thing on google play where you collect points and redeem them as a credit to use on google play. Yesterday I redeemed $2 which leaves me with a total of $4. Yesterday I tried to use the $4 to get some coins on TikTok and it declined it saying I don't live in the US and cannot use the credit. What kinda scam is this? I redeem this yesterday from Mauritius and now I can't use the credit. Has this ever happened to you?

It's not a scam if they informed you in advance that the credit is for US resident only. TikTok is banned here, I do not risk to be scammed by them.

Yes, but those are the ones I bought before the law applied. It's credit that was left.

@BabeSays When the rules change, usually we must cash before the changes.

I did message and they sent their new rules. But my point is that it's old credit not new credit.
