Finally, a little rain.

Short and sweet with wind and thunder, a small storm came through and blessed us with a few minutes of rain. We have been teased with it for a while, so if we get anything, we're happy. Chilly didn't run and hide, which is a good sign. He wasn't chomping at the bit to get out, so I didn't encourage the behavior. He seems happy which is a good thing.

We have had a couple of dry days. I think we are due some light rain this afternoon. It is going to be hot today.

That's wonderful, a short, burst of rain is good to reduce searing temperatures. We had it here too, so it's like a breath of fresh air.
