Just A Gift

I have been watching Judge Judy quite a bit. I like her show. She really sets these dummies straight. Probably 80% of the time the case is over money being owed. These people really believe they can pull the wool over the judge's eyes and make her believe that others are just going to give these people $$$ as a gift. Thousands of $$$. These people are really amazing to me. I, personally, would never expect anyone to just give me thousands of $$$ and not expect to pay it back. Come on people! There are such things as pride, ethics, self-respect, morals, and even common sense.
What are your thoughts?
