Something to look forward to.

I have felt like Bob has not had much to look forward to, while I go to work or go have coffee with friends. Today that may be changing.
This year our school district has taken over the operation of the Recreation Commission. They are adding lots of new things for people in our community to do. This is covered by our taxes.
Today they are having an initial meeting of a Chess club. Bob likes to play chess, I do not. I sure hope that there are some interested people there. Bob is going. Funny, he forgets appointments, chores, simple requests I make, but he remembers that I told him there is going to be a chess club meeting. It will only be an hour, but it will be something he enjoys..

That sounds like it is something made for Bob. I wanted to join a scrabble club in Charlottesville, but it is just too far away. Not only does it meet there, but it is on the far side of town, over an hour away...and it would be dark driving home..No Thanks.

I hope Bob had a good time at the Chess Club. My husband is the same way. He forgets everything (I have to remind him of appointments, when to take his meds, etc.); but if it's something he's interested in, he's right on it.

I hope the chess club eventuates. Vince has started playing table tennis once a week and is enjoying that.

I am glad there is something that Bob enjoys. I hope there was another who he enjoyed playing chess with.

Yes, he would remember that which is fun, I think we all do that. Chores aren't generally that much fun.

I hope Bob enjoys the Chess club and that there are several other people who enjoy the game as much as he does. Everybody needs something to look forward to in their life.

We always remember what we like to remember. Bob loves chess and therefore remembers it.
