Day 339 (Isaiah 56:3-8) Do not let the son of the foreigner who joined himself to the LORD speak, saying, “The LORD separated me from His people”; nor let the eunuch say, “Here I am a dry tree.” For thus says the LORD: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. Also, the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants—everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath and holds fast to My covenant— even them I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him.” Do you feel left out or abandoned because of who you are? Many times, people will bully those who are different from them and make them feel unwanted. God said He would accept people no matter who they were or where they came from when they sought the Lord. He said He would accept their burnt offerings in His house, and His house would be known as the House of Prayer for all nations. As Christians, this is good news for you. God accepts you no matter where you live or what you do. If you seek the Lord with your whole heart, and call Jesus your Savior and Lord, you are His. He will welcome you with open arms into His house and accept your offerings of praise and thanksgiving. You can be joyful and give Him praise because you are His. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for accepting me as Your child. Let me come into Your house with joy, praising You and glorifying Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Those are enlightening verses coming from the Old Testament, where it is usually indicated that God was only a God for his chosen tribe, of the Israelites, and that Jesus Christ opened this up to all nations when he came. These verses show that God was, and is, always a God of all nations, open to anyone to come into his house of prayer, at any time, for anyone who joins themselves to the Lord, by serving, and loving him.

Jesus Christ tore the veil for all of us so that we can have access to the Father through prayers.

@innertalks God shows us He never changes. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. From Hebrews 13. Have a blessed day.

@jobelbojel Yes, Jesus emphasised the point that anyone who believes in him can be saved. From Saint John's gospel, chapter 11, verses 25-26. 'Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die."' I was just a bit surprised to find the same idea mentioned in the old Testament too, though. The Spirit is mentioned a few times in the Old Testament too, and it is the Holy Spirit that guides and teaches us, in our lives. The book of Numbers, chapter 11, verses 24-25 "So Moses went out and told the people what the Lord had said. He brought together seventy of their elders and had them stand around the tent. Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took some of the power of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied—but did not do so again."

In connection with your discussion, I remember the parable of the Good Samaritan. He welcomes everyone and thank you for the reminders.
