Camp fire - a memory

One does not have to go camping to have the joy of sitting round a camp fire.
Years ago while I was still working our Department decided to go on an overnight picnic. We were around 40. One colleague knew of a place where we could go - a few miles by train.
We lodged at that place and they had a huge property. It was an event to remember. We spent two nights there On the second night we had a camp fire We sat round the camp fire singing and dancing, cracking jokes and even played pranks on each other. I had created rhymes on every person around there and this was the rhyme I wrote for the boss
At times he brings the whole roof down,
At times he has a terrible frown
But most of the time he is full of beans
I dare not say who that means.
I am still in touch with a few colleagues including who was my boss then, some having migrated to foreign countries.
Am I not grateful for having created memories on which I can reminisce?.

@AmbiePam He celebrated his 90th birthday and I was asked to write something for a book his family was planning to gift him - a book about him.
He then had a long chat with me over the phone For his age he sounded quite normal.
