I got a phone appointment with a doctor, but she wanted me to download this thing on my phone, I assume so I could get the note she sent me to send to my employer. Of course, just like on my computer, the app/website on my phone does not work.
Now I'm calling back to see if I can possibly get the note in my email instead of their website/whatever.
The girl I spoke to on the phone said the website is new and I should have no trouble getting into it. Well, I am. Supposedly she is going to let the doctor I spoke to know and see if they can send it to me via email.
I know technology is supposed to make our lives easier, but sometimes it really does not.

I know how you feel since technology is great if I had been able to take computer courses in school.

That's about the time I ask the doctor to print it out for me, leave it with reception and I'll pick it up myself. I have no patience with professionals and their 'technology'.

What do they do when the person doesn't have a "smart" phone?

It's easier for them if everyone uses the same platform. However, some people publish apps before their ready.

I hope you are able to get the note from your Doctor.
