The delicious marshmallows- someone calls them "sweet, soft, springy, fluffy pillows of deliciousness" - are difficult to make I have tried making them but did not succeed as it calls for precision . I have no patience for things that need precision
Four simple ingredients - sugar, corn syrup, water and gelatin is all what is required to make these delicious marshmallows. The sugar syrup has to be just this hot not less not more - saw? All this is not for me.
I am sure some of you here must have been successful Have you?

@allknowing I think it's something I will never get around to. But that is obviously where the name comes from. There are several different types of mallow plants and one species grows in marshes.
I do find it ironic that a food that was originally vegetarian and is even named after the plant is now made with animal gelatine!

Marshmallows are really delicious they are soft and fluffy , but I haven't tried making marshmallows , I just buy whenever I crave for them.

I agree. When I was still a kid I saw in a birthday party some grilled marshmallows and some were made like barbecue placed on a stick with hotdogs and some fruit cutlets.
