Hottest day this year

They are predicting a high of 104 F which is 40 C. I have not checked in a while.
I am in the office, door shut, ceiling fan on and air conditioner running. This is the hottest day we have had since last August.
I was listening to an hour long video training, and slept through a part of it, not sure how much. Woke up with a headache.
For my headache I have poured cold coffee over ice, added a splash of milk and some stevia to sweeten it. I am usually on my third cup by this time of day, so I am pretty sure I am struggling with lack of caffeine.
So locking myself in the office is how I am staying cooler. It helps a lot.

I don't think it got over 22°C/72°F here today. It's that smoke from Quebec forest fires blanketing the sky. I wonder what the sunset will look like.

We have had those temperature in the summer season here and also very humid. I'd stay indoor and turn the ac on.

We reached 93F today... And we're supposed to reach 100F tomorrow. The weather forecasters can take temps like that and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.
We have the air running, too, but it's set for 77F so we don't kill ourselves with a too high electric bill. I'm glad Medicaid raised the number of hours Pretty gets paid for each week helping me when my eyes swell shut.

I can relate to what you are going through since my area is under a heat advisory until 7 pm locally. I am also inside my home with a cooling fan keeping me cool and drinking plenty of water.
