Cloudy and Fresh Air is Smokey

Two older men were visiting on the sidewalk yesterday, at Tawas City Park. The one commented to me, "We are outdoors to get some fresh air, but there isn't any!"
I thought about that statement, again last evening. The local news report mentioned the quality of the air we breathe. Chris(weather man) said that clouds of smoke had moved in, from Canada.
Both of us are sensitive to smoke, because of health conditions called asthma and allergies.

I'm allergic to smoke! And what is so strange, Jay's asthma is flaring up, he takes medication for it. My coughing is much better! God is faithful to his children:)

@kobesbuddy Chelle is too, right? You both must be so ready for this to end. I mean everyone is ready, but when you’re allergic, that’s much worse. I’m very thankful your coughing is better; what a blessing.

Allergies are so uncomfortable I only imagine how people suffering from them are managing with that pollution

People can die from allergies or asthma. Their breathing shuts off.

Yes, I think the air was pretty bad in a lot of big cities including Detroit. It was a bit smoky here but nothing to get excited about.

@kobesbuddy I heard that Detroit, Chicago, DC, and Philly were terrible. I don't know why they can't put those flres out...by dropping flame retardant on it.

My daughter's family lives down by Detroit. Their air was terrible yesterday:(

We had two wild fires in Michigan, also. Our air has been polluted for the past three months now. It was polluted before, but these two wild fires really did us in.

@kobesbuddy It is a bad year for fires as it is so very dry.
It breaks my heart that our country is literally burning up all around us and this Saturday is Canada Day.

Yesterday the smoke was really thick; and hubs had some trouble breathing. We should get some rain tomorrow. Have a good rest of your day.

Jay's asthma is a lot better, also:) My coughing has stopped, a big relief! We are getting more rain today, this helps clean the air we are forced to breathe.

Yes, Jay has asthma and both of us have allergies. It's hard to breathe, with smoke in the air.

They finally put out the two wild fires in Michigan. The forests were destroyed, yet no lives were lost:)
