Smart phones and prayers

With books becoming digital, it has become easier to download anything that we want to read. We can get some of our Indian prayers that we say regularly in the net. As a religious Indian I feel happy as I forgot to bring all my prayer books along with me to my son's place. Those that I remember I need that search for. For example I remember the " Hanuman Chalisa" which I recite every night before going to bed but those prayers that I need my books for I download it on my smartphone and read them. Have you ever done anything like that with prayers?

I use Internet for many things. I remember all the prayers that I say. In the morning, I play chantings on YouTube. It goes from 5 in the morning till I leave the house... Gayatri mantra, Mahamrityunjay mantra followed by chantings according to days... Monday for Shiva, Tuesday for Hanuman Chalisa, Wednesday for Ganesha, Thursday for Krishna and Vishnu, Friday for all Goddess, Saturday for Shani and Hanuman, Sunday for all bhajans. I have made a playlist there.

I used to do that when I was suffering from hallucination. Not now. I download the scripts and read through them as prayers.

Isn't that really useful for old people like us who believe that prayers can work wonders?

I will turn to the internet for many things, but I have not turned to it for prayers as of yet. I usually have my prayer books with me.

Absolutely! I can totally relate. Technology has made it so convenient to access prayers and spiritual texts on our smartphones. It's a blessing to have those important prayers available at our fingertips, especially when we forget our physical books. Embracing the digital age while staying connected to our religious practices feels great!

That's so very true. Technology has not alienated us from our religion or God.
