This afternoon we were talking about how a responsible young youth should behave in his or her daily duties. My friends had a lot of suggestion on how we as youths should behave, and one of the points that many were disagree on was about using the phone, i remember recently there was a boy in a certain country who was campaigning for the parents to stay away from their phones and have a great time with the family I just admit that phones are addictive at some point as people are glued on the screen even as they walk. In my opinion we should carefully who how we use our phones, not every time on the screen what about your thoughts?

I agree screens can be addictive, but not everyone's going to get addicted. If you set limits, talk about internet safety, on a regular basis, you'll be fine.

@Laurakemunto Some parents have a hard time having the tough, conversation. However, if you're not willing to, you're just asking for trouble.

@kaylachan yes I think they should not fear talking with their children and it should start from when the child is young

It is only my opinion that parents should limit the amount of time their kids and teenagers spend on any electronic device. I don’t have children, but my sister does, and she sets hard boundaries on when and how long they can be on their devices.

I see folks looking at their phone screens more and more when they visit me. Seeing that keeps me from buying a smart phone. My flip phone is good enough for me.

People these days spend way too much time on their phones. It's best to limit young people's time on the phone so they don't get used to being on all day.

I really agree with you but it's very hard unless the parents take the first step

Yes, looking at phone screen can be addictive if there is no self discipline.
