Copper utensils

We went to a lovely South Indian restaurant which was busy. This is how the water was served to us - in traditional copper based vessels. I know some.people don't like copper, but this has been used for centuries. I like the 'raw' look they have!

I like the look of copper, but copper is toxic, I would never drink water served in copper.

It's toxic beyond a limit only. It's a necessary micronutrient.

Yet Copper is recommended for certain ailments, skin problems etc and even for digestion.

@pitstop It's forbidden to serve food in copper containers here. We had a small piece of copper in the birds bath to kill the mosquitoes larvae... yes copper kills them.

This is unique, vintage and in fact healthy. We are in fact planning to buy a few Cooper vessels. They give many health benefits. But yes, one needs to follow a few things with Copper utensils.

@pitstop They need basic cleaning. We have one since last 6 years or so but now it needs a change.
