If you have a problem with something, Google it. Chances are there will at least be some online suggestions. A few days ago my printer suddenly jammed up. I removed the stuck paper. It has not worked right since. I am planning to replace it, if I cannot get it working. Being without a printer is making me nuts. So I have done a couple of cleaning steps, which did not succeed. I have more things to try tomorrow. It is bedtime right now. Seems this problem is pretty common. The fireworks have slowed down. We have the cats inside and my eyelids are heavy.

@GardenGerty I can relate to your problem since my latest computer has to be on sleep mode when it is not operating or else it will not start.

I get five or six hours of deep sleep, and then get up for the bathroom and sometimes stay up, sometimes not.

Each printer brand has a different code, so we have to searching for the same model that are being used.

I use my printer quite a bit and will likely want to print off the certificates from my training.

It's amazing what you can find on the web. We've fixed all sorts of things ourselves through searching online, including removing an airbag from the car door and fixing a window that wouldn't go up and down.

Well, I did all the steps. It did not work, and the manufacturer's website said that might be the case. I can get a "free upgrade". Not going to go that route just yet.

@GardenGerty Animals have very good hearing so things like fireworks bother them. For my cat lately when it was thundering and lightning that bothered her and I tried to calm her down. I hope you can figure out how to get the printer going or can find a good one in your price range. I need a printer and also a scanner to work for me.
